Refund & Cancellation Policy

Helping Era will inform the Donor’s that the donation has not yet been passed onto the charity or beneficiary and if they want the money will be refunded to the donor or will be transferred to other campaign after consent. Helping Era will refund the amount in case the beneficiary found falls or fraud. Donations are sent electronically from the Helping Era to the nominated cause in 10 working days. To secure a refund, email or call the Helping Era office. Contact details are available under the contact tab. If the donation has already been forwarded to the chosen charity or beneficiary, please contact them directly.

 

You make contributions on the website are made towards Projects or people with the social impact as the primary cause. You understand that this contribution is not for purchase of any goods or services. Therefore, the contributions once cleared by the payment gateway will go towards the project you intended to give to, and therefore cannot be refunded or cancelled.

 

In case the project is cancelled before the money is given by the Company/ Individual to the project/ campaign owner, the donors will be informed and contributions will be refunded to designated bank accounts after deduction of payment gateway charges. The organization will seek information, through e-mail, on your bank account for electronic transfer. The organization will refund the amount in 15 working days from the date of receipt of complete information. The Company will not be responsible for any wrong information. However, such refund will be subject to applicable payment gateway fees and taxes.

Please Note the transaction done on the Helping Era can be take approximately 5-7 working days to the beneficiaries account.

If you are a Funder, you may seek a refund only within 7 days of making a contribution. Irrespective of the campaign period, no refunds shall be entertained in the last 15 days of the Campaign. By way of clarification, it is clarified that in case of campaigns that are for a period of 15 days or less, there shall be no refunds at all.

9.5.2. If a Campaign for which you have made a Funding is not deemed funded by the end of the Funding Period and is under the All or Nothing funding model, your Contribution if made using Indian credit card/ debit cards/ e- wallets/ net banking will be cancelled automatically and any amounts remitted will be returned in full. In case of foreign Funders, refund would be net of the payment gateway charges of 3% and any changes in foreign exchange fluctuations.

9.5.3. Crowd Favourites: If you are a funder for a campaign on Crowd Favourites, irrespective of the payment method you choose, and the time of funding the campaign, refunds are not allowed. Payment Gateway Fees payable by Funders

Please note that if you are paying in a currency other than INDIAN RUPEES you may be charged additional fees by the payment gateway OR your bank when making payment. If in doubt, please check the details of such fees before making any Funding.
